AUGUSTA, Ga. - Irma Helm Hatfield, 96, of Jennings Healthcare entered into rest Thursday, August 22, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital. Graveside services will be at 10a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2002, at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Robert L. Taylor officiating. Ms. Hatfield is survived by one daughter, Meta H. Hollins of Augusta; two grandchildren, Amy Jenkins of Augusta and Cecilia Crozier of Waynesboro. Additional survivors are two great grandchildren, Lee Anne Jenkins and Ashley Lynn Jenkins and one brother, Lester Helm of Appling and several nieces and nephews. Ms. Hatfield was predeceased by a grandson, Robby Hollins. Ms. Hatfield was born in the Catahoula Parrish, La. She was the retired owner of Lansdells Florist, an active member of St. James United Methodist Church and a member of the Emma Lester Bible Class. She was also a charter member of Mize Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to St. James United Methodist Church, 439 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901. Poteet Funeral Home, 529 Greene Street.
