AUGUSTA, Ga. -Mr. Reginald Elam, Jr., entered into rest Wednesday, August 21, 2002, at University Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2002, at 11:30 a.m., at B. A. Williams Memorial Chapel with Dr. J. R. Hatney officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mr. Elam was a native of Isle White County, Va.; and was a U. S. Army veteran. After 25 years of service, he retired from Thermal Ceramics. Survivors are his wife, Queen Elam; four sons, Savalas Lattimore, Huntsville, Ala., Reginald Elam III., Toronio Elam, Augusta, Willie (Conswella) Yarbray, Jr., Columbia; two daughters, Phoebe Yarbray, Debora Yarbray, Augusta; father and mother, Reginald and Sarah Elam, Suffolk, Va.; five sisters, Barbara (Clarence) Moore, Brenda (Ricky) Scott, Linda (James) Holland, Laverne (David) Johnson, Sarah Elam, Suffolk, Va.; six brothers, Larry (Verona) Elam, Calvin (Cynthia) Elam, Ernest (Angie) Elam, Eric (Robin) Elam, James Elam, David Elam, Suffolk, Va.; four grandchildren two aunts; three great aunts; mother-in-law, Pearl Lewis, Augusta; sister-in-law, Deloris Miller, Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
