ORANGEBURG, S.C. - Andrew Mortimore Stroman Jr., 80, of Live Oaks Drive SW, Orangeburg, died July 24, 2002, at the Methodist Oaks. Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Orangeburg with Rev. Kermit Shrawder and Rev. Jack Anderson officiating. Interment in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens, Orangeburg. Pallbearers will be Marty Stroman, Calvin Hewitt, William (Buck) Stroman, Riley Stroman, Creighton Truell, Michael Jones, and Phillip Accordini. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Edisto Shrine Club. He was born September 20, 1921 in Bowman. He was the son of the late Andrew M. Stgroman Sr. and the late Margaret Bell Stroman. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp and was a veteran of World War II. He was retired past owner of Stroman Electric. He was a member of the Equality Lodge; past president of the Edisto Shrine Club; member of the Omar Temple; the Orangeburg Elks Lodge; the V.F.W.; the American Legion; the DAV. He was a member of First Baptist Church, widower of Medrue Jameson Stroman. Survivors include two sons, Andrew (Andy) M. Stroman III of Bowman, Warren Stroman of North Augusta; daughter, Karen Stroman Truell of Rock Hill; special niece, Mrs. Margaret Jones of Atlanta; brother, Julian Stroman of Orangeburg; six grandchildren, Renae Stroman Hewitt, Marty Stroman, Erin Stroman, William (Buck) Stroman, Riley Stroman, Creighton Truell; three great-grandchildren, Katelyn Huff, Haley Hewitt, Whitney Stroman and a number of nieces. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Stroman, 2131 Old Riley Street, Orangeburg and at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital, P. O.
