NORWOOD, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Vevelyn M.(B.B.) Moss,of Moss Street, Norwood, Ga., will be Friday, July 26, 2002, at 1 p.m. at the Cody Grove Baptist Church, Warrenton with Rev. James Murray officiating. Interment in the churchyard cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church beginning at 12 noon. Mrs. Moss was a McDuffie County native and a member of the Cody Grove Baptist Church where she served faithfully as a member of the choir and the Willing Workers Missionary and other missionary organizations. She was a 1981 graduate of Thomson High School and the Augusta State University where she received a B.S. in Education and earned a Masters of Arts in Instruction Education from Central Michigan University. As an educator, Mrs.Moss taught school at the M.E. Freeman Elementary School, Warrenton, Ga., where she was member of the school council and the local GAE President. Survivors are husband, Leroy Moss, Warrenton; one son, Bryan Moss, Norwood; father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Grover C. Neal, Jr., Thomson; one sister, Sharon Turman, Thomson; three brothers, Rev. Larry Neal, Martinez; Rev. Freddie Neal, Sr., Thomson; and Mr. Rodney Neal, Thomson; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Flossie H. Thompson of Thomson, Ga.; other relatives and friends. Thomson Funeral System, Thomson, Ga. in charge of arrangements.
