CASTLE ROCK, Colo. -- Ernie Els, who won the third major title of his career in the British Open on Sunday, will return to The International at Castle Pines Golf Club next week.
"It is one of my favorite places in the world to play," Els said after his playoff victory at Muirfield. "I will be there."
Els noted that International founder Jack Vickers "gave me my first chance to play in the United States, and I will always come back if I can."
Els will be making his 12th appearance at Castle Pines. He won The International two years ago and is the tournament's leading money winner with $1,259,989.
