NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mrs. Lona Chavous Green, 92, of Rosemary Lane, entered into rest on Saturday, July 20, 2002, at the residence of her daughter. Funeral services will be held at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel on Tuesday, July 23, 2002, at 1 p.m. with Reverends Warren Ham, Robert Pate and Bobby Leopard officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Louise Johnson and son-in-law, Rudolph, Augusta and Peggy Moore, North Augusta; four grandchildren, Debbie Leopard, Windsor, Chris McGee, Graniteville, Richard Moore, North Augusta and Kathy Ham, Augusta, Ga.; ten great-grandchildren, Angie Hancock, Windsor, Jon Leopard, North Augusta, Robbie Leopard, Windsor, Jamie Anderson, North Augusta, Tillman Williams, Graniteville, Michelle Moore, North Augusta, Stephaine Moore, North Augusta, Karen Ham, Augusta, Ga., David Ham, Augusta, Ga. and Jason Ham, Augusta, Ga.; five great-great- grandchildren, Zachary and Madison Anderson, North Augusta, Caleb and Joshua Hancock, Windsor and Tyler Leopard, North Augusta. Mrs. Green was a native and life long resident of Augusta. She was a member of Barton Chapel United Methodist Church, the Daughters of America and was a homemaker. Pallbearers will be grandsons and Mr. Bill Larisey. Friends may call at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Rudolph Johnson 2186 Gordon Highway Augusta or the funeral home.
