ATHENS, Ga. - A native of Richmond County, Mr. Radford was a son of Faye and George Kitchens of Harlem and the late Raymond Radford. John was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church and was a longtime employee of Bi-Lo. Services will be at 11a.m. Monday at Green Acres Baptist Church with the Revs. Mark Babin, Steven Hartman, and Jim Synan officiating. Burial will be at 3p.m. on Monday at Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens, Thomson. Survivors, in addition to his mother and stepfather, include his wife, Lynne Radford; two daughters, Andrea and Allison Radford, both of Athens; a son, Al Radford, Athens; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 7 to 9p.m. Sunday at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East. (706) 546-1587.
