Mr. Fred Duckett (AIKEN, S.C.)



AIKEN, S.C. - Fred Hamilton Duckett, 72, of Bonner Street, died Friday, July 19, 2002, at ARMC. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 22, 2002, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Fred Andrea officiating. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mr. Duckett is survived by his loving wife, Jane Rutland Duckett; a daughter, Lindy Duckett, Charleston; two sons, Randy Duckett, Aiken, Barry Duckett, Barnwell; seven grandchildren, Kelly Segars, Christy Segars, Matthew Duckett, Anna Duckett, Drew Duckett, Amy Duckett, Lisa Duckett; and three brothers, Colon Duckett, Union, Gene Duckett, Dennis Duckett, both of Cowpens. Mr. Duckett was in the Air Force as a First Lieutenant during the Korean Conflict. He was a resident of Aiken for 45 years and was a retired Occupational Therapist, with Alston Wilkes Society. Mr. Duckett was a member of First Baptist Church. Memorials may be directed to First Baptist church, 120 Chesterfield St., NE, Aiken, SC 29801.
