Activities and entertainment events scheduled for the weekend include:

TODAY SIBSHOPS SESSION: The Medical College of Georgia is holding a Sibshops session from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the conference center of the Children's Medical Center. Sibshops is designed to help the siblings of seriously ill children or children with special needs to cope with their feelings. Participants are between 7 and 15 years old. HELP LINE YARD SALE: First Baptist Church, on Chesterfield Street in Aiken is holding a yard sale. The sale will be in the Roberts Building from 7:30 a.m. until noon. For more information, call (803) 641-4143.

AUGUSTA SOUTHERN NATIONALS: The annual drag-boat races on the Savannah river will continue today and Sunday at the Augusta Riverfront Marina, 1 Fifth St. General admission costs $18, and tickets can be purchased from 278-4TIX or tixonline.com.

SUNDAY GOSPEL GALA 2002: A gospel concert will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at the Midland Valley High School gymnasium in Langley. Performances will be given by Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC's, Keith "Wonderboy" Johnson and the Spiritual Voices, the Gospel Four, Lucille Pope and the Pearly Gates, and the Spiritual Seven.
