NOTES: Track owner Bob Bahre widened the first- and second-turn areas, as well as the third and fourth-turn areas by 10 feet to create a second racing groove and hopefully give drivers more room to pass. ... The banking at both ends of the raceway is 12 degrees, making it difficult for cars to run side by side. ... Jeff Burton (four wins) and Jeff Gordon (three) have won half of all the Winston Cup races ever run at New Hampshire since it joined the circuit in 1993.
