AUGUSTA, Ga.- Entered into rest Monday, July 15, 2002 at her residence, Mrs. Barbara Langley Storey, loving wife of Mr. Mallie Bert Storey. Funeral services will beheld at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2002 at the First Baptist Church of Augusta with Dr. Timothy L. Owings and Rev. Jacob Malone officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Barry Langley Storey and Beth Powell Storey, her daughter and son-in-law, Nan Storey Easterlin and Edward Downs Easterlin; her grandchildren, Mallie Nan Easterlin, Clara Amelia Easterlin, Edward Downs Easterlin, Jr., Shelby Claire Storey and Barry Langley Storey, Jr. Born July 4, 1931 in Augusta, Mrs. Storey was the daughter of the late Edward Shubric Langley and Lunette Edwins Langley of Orangeburg, S.C., the granddaughter of the late Frances Prioleau Langley and Gabriella Moorer Langley of Orangeburg, S.C. and the great granddaughter of the late Dr. Samuel G. Langley and Martha Prioleau Langley of Charleston, S.C. A graduate of Tubman High School for Girls, Mrs. Storey was a homemaker and a devoted mother and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta and the Hillside Garden Club. Serving as pallbearers will be Ralph J. Simons, Patrick G. Smith, Franklin B. Long, G. William Tice, Jack W. Wilson, E. Jerry Murphy,Jr., Marvin K. Johnson, William E. Johnson and Julian V. Casey. Serving as Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Hillside Garden Club, the First Baptist Church Preschool Sunday School Teachers and the Mens Crusaders Bible Class. If so desired, memorials may be made to the Chapel Fund of First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, Ga. 30909.
