AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Janney Lynn Miller, 46, of Folkstone Circle, Woodbine West, passed away late Monday evening at the residence of her mother, Mrs. Ruby Ratliff Miller, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home on Davis Road. Father Erwin O. Veale, chaplain of the Medical College of Georgia, will conduct the services. Entombment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Ms. Miller was a 1973 graduate of Westside High School and in 1977 received a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Augusta College. For many years she was office manager of Bellevue Memorial Gardens that was co-founded by her father, the late Cecil F. Miller. She also was employed in the advertising department of The Augusta Chronicle. In addition to her mother, Ms. Miller is survived by two brothers, Cecil F. "Bud" Miller Jr., and Mark Thomas Miller, both of Augusta. Active pallbearers will be Robert G. "Bobby" Miller Jr., Timothy McNeill, Tim Price, Howard Dye, John Hills and Jimmy Story. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Pink Magnolia Breast Cancer Support Group.
