THOMSON, Ga. - Mr. James Tommy Lokey Jr., 61, beloved husband of Mrs. Olean Lokey, of Fawn Run Road, died Monday, July 8, 2002, in the University Hospital. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 10, in Thomson First United Methodist Church with Rev. George Freeman officiating. Burial will be in Savannah Valley Memorial gardens. Mr. Lokey, a native of Clio, S.C., had lived in Thomson for many years. He was a general contractor and appraiser. He was a member of Thomson First United Methodist Church. He was a member of Thomson Rotary. He was active with the Boy Scouts and had been an Eagle Scout. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Olean Lokey, Thomson; his son, Jim Lokey, Thomson; his brother, George Lokey, Thomson; his sister, Mary McNeil, Dawson, Ga.; and a granddaughter, Ashlie Lokey. Pallbearers will be John McNeill, Don McNeill, Jerry Varnadoe, Riley Stamey, David Joesbury. Friends may call at the residence.
