AUGUSTA, Ga. - Almerta Neuhaus, 85, entered into rest July 6, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital, Augusta. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Westover Memorial Park with Pastor David B. Hunter officiating. Mrs. Neuhaus is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, W.G. Neuhaus Jr. of Augusta, Stanley E. and Bettye Neuhaus of Birmingham, Ala., C. Steven and Brenda Neuhaus of Augusta; five grandchildren, David Neuhaus of Jacksonville, Fla., Jon Neuhaus of Vero Beach, Fla., Ann and Trent ONeill of Evans, Caryn Neuhaus of Athens and Will Neuhaus of Augusta. Additional survivors are four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Mary Beck Floyd of Florence, S.C. and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Neuhaus was predeceased in death by her husband, William G. Neuhaus Sr. and a son, Dennis E. Neuhaus. Mrs. Neuhaus was a long time member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and a member of The Metropolitan Womens Club. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Poteet Funeral Home, West Chapel, 3686 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA.
