AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest July 4, 2002, at Salem Nursing & Rehab Center, Mr. Rudolph Fason of Cornell Drive. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Clyde Hill Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Mr. Fason was a native of Colleton County and a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He was a World War II veteran. He was the co-owner of Terrys (Andersons Bar & Grill). Survivors include his wife, Lettuce Jones Fason; daughters, Florine C. Moore, Philadelphia, Pa., Betty F. Cooke, Augusta, Jacqueline Fason, Hephzibah and Gloria F. Holmes, Augusta; grandchildren, Tremell E. Harvey, Lynette Farlow, Rydna Williams, Ronda J. Spender and Xavier Spencer; six great-grandchildren; a devoted friend, William "Bill" Bridges and a host of other relatives and friends.
