Scooby Snacks

Children aren't the only ones targeted by the release of the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie.

Heinz Pet Products, an affiliate of the H.J. Heinz Company, has produced a line of Scooby snacks just for the family pet.

The Where Are You snacks, for small-to-medium-sized dogs, are shaped like some of Scooby-Doo's favorite foods, including beef, cheese, chicken and pizza.

The Scavenger Hunt, for larger dogs, are shaped to resemble Scooby, Shaggy, the Mystery Machine and Scooby's dog tags.

Changing lanes

Until 1965, driving was done on the left-hand side on roads in Sweden. The conversion to the right-hand side was done on a weekday at 5 p.m. All traffic stopped as people switched sides. This time and day were chosen to prevent accidents where drivers would have gotten up in the morning and been too sleepy to realize "this" was the day of the changeover.
