Fishing tournament news

Tuesday Night Shootout June 25 results at Langley Pond Charles Moyer reporting

The club is interested in boaters and nonboaters who'd like to join. The club meets every second Tuesday of the month at the Golden Corral restaurant on Bobby Jones Expressway at 7 p.m. Anyone interested in striper/hybrid fishing is welcome to attend. Entry fee is $22 per boat, with $2 going toward the year-end Classic payback. Hours are 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Five-fish limit per team or individual. Payback is based on number of boats entered. The tournament is sponsored by the Carolina Bass Club. The Summer Saturday Night Classic will be held on Saturday, Aug. 31, from 5 p.m. to midnight and anglers must have fished a minimum two regular season tournaments to qualify, or pay $100 entry fee. Those who have fished a minimum of two tourneys will pay an entry fee of $55, including the big fish pot.
