APPLING, Ga. - Entered into rest Sunday, June 23, 2002, at St. Joseph Hospital, Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Leverett Dunn, 59, of Jordan Drive, Appling. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 29, 2002, at 2 p.m., from Solid Rock Baptist Church, Appling, with Rev. Willie J. Williams officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Dunn was a native of Appling and a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church, Appling, where she was a member of Senior Choir and Deaconess Board. Survivors are three sons, Alonzo Dunn, St. Louis, Mo., Jeffrey B. (Frances) Dunn, Appling and Omar N. (Shanty) Dunn, Atlanta; mother, Lucy Mae Leverett, Appling; two brothers, James (Loretta) Leverett, Philadelphia, Pa. and Robert (Gracey) Leverett, Augusta; three sisters, Katie (Walter) Pollard, Augusta, Carrie Leverett, Appling and Mary (Willie) Barnes, Harlem; five grandchildren, Ahmad, Rashad, Jeffrey, Malik and Amari; one aunt, Carrie B.
