AUGUSTA, Ga. - Frances Elizabeth Wadsworth Rickamer, 85, entered into rest on Monday, June 24, 2002, at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta, after a short illness. She was married to the late Edward J. Rickamer of Tupper Lake, N.Y. They owned and operated Rickamers Jewelers together until the passing of her husband in 1991. She continued to reside in Tupper Lake until the passing of her eldest daughter, Barbara Ann Foley, she then moved to be with her daughter, Patricia Jean Hoover of Augusta in 1998. Once in Augusta, she enjoyed spending time with her daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as her beloved dog, Georgia. She was a member of the Hephzibah United Methodist church and will be remembered as a compassionate, warm, loving person who enjoyed each and every day to its fullest. She is survived and will be sadly missed by a daughter, Patricia (Mike) J. Hoover of Augusta; a sister, Genevieve Crane of Nakomis, Fla.; six grandchildren, Tricia Socky, Sharlene Hoover, and Edward Rickamer Hoover all of Augusta, Bertrand Foley Jr. of Kunkletown, Pa., Glenn Wadsworth Foley, Saddle River, N.J., and Deborah Foley, Suffern, N.Y.; 11 great grandchildren, and one nephew, Jack Crane, Utica, N.Y. A memorial service will be held at Hephzibah United Methodist church on Thursday, June 27, 2002, at 6:30p.m. Interment will be in St. Alphonsus Cemetery, Tupper Lake, N.Y.
