AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William Spence Stork Sr., 94, of Cambridge Drive, Augusta, beloved husband of Mrs. Anne P. Stork of 66 years, entered into rest, on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m., Friday, June 21, 2002, at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, with Pastor David Hunter, officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Additional survivors include a daughter, Margaret Stork Bryngelson of Augusta; four sons, William Spence Stork Jr., of Kosciusko, Miss., Paw Stork of Columbia, John C. Stork of Monticello, and Joseph L. Stork of Birmingham, Ala.; a brother, Richard Stork of Columbia; along with 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Mr. William Stork worked for GMAC for 35 years and retired as the Branch Manager of the Augusta office. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, and a past member of the church council. He graduated from the University of South Carolina in 1933 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Commerce. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, 825 Greene Street, Augusta, Ga., 30901.
