A mother, father and son are being held at the Columbia County Detention Center after a routine air check by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources revealed more than two dozen marijuana plants.
Columbia County Sheriff's Capt. Steve Morris said the plants were spotted at about noon Thursday near the family's residence off Whiteoak Road between Morris-Callaway and Dozier roads. Capt. Morris said he could provide only their last name - Robertson.
Officers raided the home and charged the trio with manufacturing marijuana. Capt. Morris they are being held on $7,500 bond.
