AIKEN, S.C.- Mr. Charles Roberson, 41, of Davis Terrance, entered into rest on June 15, 2002, at Pepper Hill Nursing Center. Funeral services will be 2p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2002, at Old Rosemary Baptist Church, Montmorenci, S.C., with Elder William Jefferson, officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Roberson was a native of Aiken County and a member of Mount Zion Outreach Ministries, Johnston, S.C. He formerly was a deacon, an usher, and a choir member at both Old Rosemary Baptist, Montmorenci, and Full Gospel Praise and Deliverance, Aiken. Survivors include his wife, Bernette Williams Roberson, Aiken; one daughter, Andrieka Renee (Tramayne) Garvin, Atlanta; three sons, Carlos (Minetta) Williams, College Park, Charles Leroy Roberson, Beech Island, and Tilton Roberson, Aiken; five sisters, Eunice (Marion) Edwards, Augusta, Margaret Thompson, Alberta Miles, Helen (Thomas) Lloyd and Patricia Roberson, all of Aiken; four brothers, Frank (Rosa) Roberson, William (Gloria) Roberson, Willie Edward Roberson, and Ronald Roberson, all of Aiken; three brothers-in-law, Pernell Williams, Montmorenci, Roger Williams an Paul Kenner, both of Springfield, S.C.; two sisters-in-law, Gladys Roberson and Jackie Williams, both of Aiken; father-in-law, Pernell (Elizabeth) Williams, Springfield, S.C.; two grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8p.m., tonight. Friends may call his residence or the funeral home after 1p.m., today. G.L.
