Mrs. Susie Freeman (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Freeman, who entered into rest June 12, 2002, in the Beverly Manor Nursing Home, will be conducted this Thursday, June 20, 2002, at 11a.m., at the Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, with the Dr. Rev. Oscar E. Wells, officiating. Mrs. Susie Moss Freeman was born in Edgefield County, S.C., July 2, 1906 to Clee and Hannah Moss. She later moved to Augusta and worked as a housekeeper. She was the mother of Fannie Moss Rhodes, who preceded her in death. She was the grandmother of Marion E. Moss Sr. and James Moss, also deceased. She was united in holy matrimony to Robert Freeman, who also preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, nine great grandchildren, Angela Moss, Marion Moss Jr., Julia Moss, Christopher Moss, Timothy Moss, Stacey Moss, Bernard Moss, Michael Moss, and Alexander Moss. Two devoted great-grandchildren, Travis and Tysha Moss; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and cousins and loving friends. We also would like to acknowledge her devoted friends and employers, Judge Bernard and Barbara Mulherin and, their daughter Mary Ann.
