ATLANTA -- Georgia Tech will play host to Florida Atlantic this weekend in one of eight NCAA tournament super regionals.
The winner of the best-of-3 series will advance to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.
Tech (49-14) advanced by beating Georgia 8-7 in Sunday's regional final in Atlanta. The Yellow Jackets were 3-0 in regional games.
Florida Atlantic (46-19) was the surprise winner of the regional in Tuscaloosa, Ala. The Blue Wave, seeded third out of four regional teams, beat host Alabama 6-5 Sunday to advance.
The first game will be Friday at 7 p.m., followed by Game 2 Saturday at 7 p.m. and Game 3, if necessary, Sunday at 1 p.m.
