LANGLEY, S.C. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2002, Mrs. Lorene Smith McIntosh, formerly of Carline Road, Langley. Her husband Mr. Henry Lamar McIntosh Jr. preceded her in death. She was the mother of H.L. "Mac" McIntosh III of Atlanta, Ga. and Shirley McIntosh of Stapleton, Ga.; the sister of Lois Garvin of Burnettown; the grandmother of Carol McIntosh, Deborah Baumgarten, Tina McIntosh, Andrea Huffman and Rion Taylor; the great-grandmother of Jessica Baumgarten, Erin Baumgarten, Victoria Huffman, Brittany Huffman, Russell Jordan and Brian McIntosh. Mrs. McIntosh was born in Burnettown, to the late Edgar and Viola Padgett Smith. She retired as a payroll specialist for Seminole Mill, a division of United Merchants & Manufacturing, with 30 years of service and she worked in the Burnettown Municipal office for 5 years. She was a member of Langley First Baptist Church where she was in the Jeanette Burnette Sunday School Class, a member of the W.M.U. and the Triple "L" Club, and formerly served in the adult choir. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday at 4 p.m. in Langley First Baptist Church with Revs. L. H. Fowler and Chris Masters officiating. Mrs. McIntosh will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Interment in Sunset Memory Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Randy Kirkland, Dee Dee Garvin, Finley Garvin, Earl Clinton, Doug Couch and Bill Huffman. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Jeanette Burnette Sunday School Class and members of the Langley First Baptist Adult Choir. Memorials to, Langley First Baptist Church, P.O.
