The Augusta Children's Chorale also will give a free performance Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way. It will be the group's last performance before departing for the Pacific Rim Children's Chorus Festival in Hawaii in July.

This week's Jazz Candlelight concert series performance will feature a performance by ex-All That Jazz man Wayne Hoey at 8 p.m. Sunday at the Eighth Street Bulkhead at Riverwalk Augusta. Mr. Hoey recently moved to Colorado Springs, Colo., so this marks a rare appearance by the former Augustan. The performance will also feature the C. Anthony Carpenter Project. Admission is $5. Don't forget candles, blankets lawn chairs and picnic baskets.

The Augusta Collegium Musicum and its director, William Toole, will present a free concert, Italy: High Renaissance and Early Baroque Choral Treasures, at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Cultural Center, 1301 Greene St. The concert will feature Hebrew service music by Salamone Rossi, and works by Palestrina, Monteverdi and Marenzio. Admission is $10, but there is no charge for group patrons. The group also will stage the concert at 5 p.m. Sunday, June 2, at the Kahai Kadash Beth Elohim Synagogue in downtown Charleston, S.C., for the city's Piccolo Spoleto Festiva.
