AUBURN, Ala. -- Trent Pratt hit a double in the bottom of the 11th inning to drive home the winning run and give Auburn an 8-7 win over Georgia on Sunday.
With the score 7-7, two out and two men on base, Pratt doubled to right center field, driving in Jonathan Schuerholz to give Auburn (32-10, 14-13 Southeastern Conference) the winning run.
Auburn, still looking to secure the last slot in the SEC tournament, took two of three from Georgia (30-21, 15-12) in the weekend series.
The Bulldogs' Lee Mitchell had scored on a fielder's choice hit by Justin Holmes to tie the game 7-7 amid a three-run seventh inning for the Georgia.
Auburn led 7-4 as the seventh inning began.
Steven Register (4-0) earned the win for Auburn after striking out two batters in relief.
Brandon Anglin got the loss, allowing one run on one hit in 1.2 innings of work.
Pratt and Bobby Huddleston each homered for Auburn. Pratt was 2-for-6 with three RBIs, and Huddleston was 3-for-5 with three RBIs.
Mitchell was 2-for-5 two RBIs for Georgia.
