WRENS, Ga. - Mrs. Helen L. Arrington, 72, of Russell Street, Wrens, entered into rest May 11, 2002 at McDuffie Regional Medical Center in Thomson. Funeral services will be held at 10:00a.m. today, May 13, 2002, at James Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Race Lariscy, and Roy White officiating. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2002, at 3:30 p.m. at the Memory Chapel Funeral Home, Laurel, Miss. with Revs. Buddy Jennings and Jimmy Manning officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00p.m. until time of the service. Burial will follow in the Sharon Cemetery. Mrs. Arrington was a native of Jones and Jasper County, Miss. She was a retired manger for Jet Food Store Corporation and a member of the Union Seminary Baptist Church in Moss, Miss. Survivors include her husband, Jack Arrington, Wrens; two sons, James C. Lampkin, Laurel, Miss. and Jackie Arrington, Fredericksburg, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Grant "Sherry" Kelley, Stringer, Miss.; brother, William P. Myers; and sister, Mrs. John "Gracie" McGraw both of Laurel, Miss.; 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Perry G. Kelley, Christopher Arrington, Mike Manning, Steven Bernier, Mike Myers, and Wendell Hosey. Memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 325 8th Street, Augusta, Georgia, 30901.
