WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mrs. Tommie Mims Bradford, 55, of Andy Street, entered into rest Friday evening at her home. Graveside services will be Monday morning, May 13, 2002, at 11a.m. at the Danburg Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Albert Huyck officiating. Active pallbearers will be Larry Gillespie, Jim Burton, Patrick Neal, David Neal, Andy Bradford, and Norris Ware. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Clayton, Tommy Bradford, Scott Bradford, and John Kent. She was a native of Lincoln County, was well known for her catering skills, and was co-owner of CTB Graphics. She was a member of Danburg Baptist Church, and was the daughter of the late Thomas L. Mims. Mrs. Bradford is survived by her husband, Charles W. Bradford, of the home; four daughters, Elizabeth T. Russell, Dana T. Patterson, and Merrideth T. Simpson, all of Anderson, S.C., and Charlotte B. Welsh, of Rayle; her mother, Christine B. Mims of Lincolnton; one brother, Lauren Mims of Anderson; and two sisters, Mrs. Kay M. Neal, of Toccoa, and Mrs. Paulette M. Langham, of Warrenton; and 10 grandchildren. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9p.m. at Hopkins Funeral Home.
