Prayer workshop

Dr. T.W. Hunt of Spring, Texas - author of several books on prayer, including The Mind of Christ and his newest release, From Heaven's View - will lead a workshop on prayer with his daughter, Melana Hunt-Monroe, at West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road in Evans, from 7-9 p.m. Thursday, May 23, and 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Friday, May 24.

Joint concert

The Sons of Jubal, the Jubal Brass and Jubal Handbells will join the Jubalheirs in concert at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way.

The last time the all-male Sons of Jubal chorus appeared with the all-female Jubalheirs was in April 1995, said the Rev. Fred Gunter, a member of the Sons and associate pastor at The Hill Baptist Church. His wife, Ann Gunter, sings with the Jubalheirs.

Book signing

Businessman, evangelist and author Todd Coontz of North Augusta will have a book signing for The Seven Myths About Money at Heavenly Resources, 1109 Knox Ave., in North Augusta, from 3-6 p.m. today.
