AIKEN, S.C. - A memorial service for Edward Ernest Bowersox will be held Monday, May 13, 2002, at 3 p.m., at Cumberland Village with Rev. Barry Antley officiating. Mr. Bowersox, 86, beloved husband of Marion Fuller Bowersox, died Friday at Pepper Hill Nursing Center. A native of Baltimore, Md., he was a graduate of McDonogh, Johns Hopkins University and the University of Baltimore School of Law. He retired as resident comptroller of the Fisher Body Division of General Motors Corp. in Flint, MI. Mr. Bowersox was with GM for 43 years before retiring. He had lived in Aiken since 1977, moving from Grand Blanc, MI. He was a former mason, shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite. He was also a member of Midland Valley Country Club. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a brother, Robert L. Bowersox, Seminole, Fla., and a sister, Mary Ellen Sellers, West Lake Village, Calif. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
