Gov. Jim Hodges, D-S.C., has made a demand for an ironclad agreement on when the plutonium will leave South Carolina before shipments to the state can begin.
I think the Department of Energy should look for an ironclad agreement from Gov. Hodges on the terms when he does agree to the shipments. With the agreement to start shipping from Colorado already set, I am reminded of the old song The MTA.
My rendition of the song is: "Will it ever return, will it ever return,/ No it will never return,/ It will ride forever on the U.S. Highways,/ It's the fuel that will never return."
