Activities and entertainment events scheduled for this week include:

TODAY

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The May meeting of the Midland Valley Area Chamber of Commerce will be at noon at Bobby's Bar-B-Q on Jefferson Davis Highway. The guest speaker will be tournament manager Kelly Thordsen. She will speak about the upcoming LPGA tournament at Mount Vintage Plantation Golf Club in Edgefield County. BUSINESS AT BREAKFAST: The Augusta Metro and Columbia County chambers of commerce will hold Business at Breakfast at 7:15 a.m. at the Marbury Center, 1261 Broad St. Tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door. For more information, call the Augusta chamber at 821-1300.

HOMETOWN TOURISTS: The Augusta Metropolitan Convention and Visitors Bureau will continue its celebration of National Tourism Week with the Be A Tourist in Your Own Hometown campaign. SCRAPBOOKING CLASSES: The City of Aiken Parks and Recreation Department will offer a scrapbooking class from 9 a.m. to noon at H. Odell Weeks Recreation Center.
