TODAY:

The Augusta GreenJackets step up to the plate against Savannah at 7:15 p.m. at Lake Olmstead Stadium on Milledge Road. The teams also play Wednesday and Thursday. To order tickets, call 736-7889. The GreenJackets will face Albany at 7:15 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2:15 p.m. Sunday. Capital City comes to Augusta for a game at 7:15 p.m. Monday.

New on video and DVD: Ocean's 11, a remake of the Rat Pack ensemble about a burglary crew with plans to hit three Vegas casinos in one night, starring Matt Damon, Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

FRIDAY:

Movie openings include The New Guy, starring DJ Qualls (Road Trip) and Eliza Dushku (Bring It On) in the story of a nerd who achieves sudden popularity when he transfers to a new high school.

SATURDAY:

The Garden City Music Festival will be held from noon to 10 p.m at Riverwalk Augusta. Performers include drivin' n' cryin', Jemani, Redbelly, Galen Kipar, Steven Jackson, Riff Raff Kings, Shark Devilles, Jazz All-Stars, Deathstar, Kitty Snyder, Jennifer Daniels and the Vagabond Missionaries. Gates open at 10 a.m. Tickets are $6 in advance, available at Greater Augusta Arts Council office, Sacred Heart Cultural Center, 1301 Greene St. Admission is $7 day of show and there's no charge for age 10 and younger. The festival also will feature a drum circle and an arts and crafts sale. Call 826-4702 for more information.
