ATLANTA -- Jeff Odgers, who led the Atlanta Thrashers in penalty minutes this season despite missing nearly half the games, re-signed with the team Monday for one year.
The 32-year-old veteran forward had been an unrestricted free agent.
Odgers had four goals and four assists for the Thrashers this season. He missed 36 games with a broken leg.
Despite missing more than two months, Odgers still led the team with 135 penalty minutes. He has had at least 100 penalty minutes in each of his 11 NHL seasons.
Atlanta claimed Odgers from the Minnesota Wild in the 2000 waiver draft.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
