LEXINGTON, N.C. - Entered into rest Saturday, April 6, 2002, Mrs. Cynthia Elizabeth New Holsonback, age 96, of Lexington, N.C. formerly of Gloverville, S.C., wife of the late James Edward Holsonback and daughter of the late William New and the late Cornelia Galloway New. She is survived by two daughters, Helen Morris of Lexington, N.C. and Judith Johnston of Charlotte, N.C.; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was born in Gloverville, and had lived there for 76 years before moving to Lexington, N.C., where she has lived for the past 20 years. She was retired from Graniteville Company and was a member of the Gloverville First Baptist Church. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Gloverville First Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Gardner officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens, Graniteville, SC. Pallbearers will be members of the Mens Bible Class. The family will receive friends at Napier Funeral Home Monday night, April 15, from 7 to 9 p.m. Mrs. Holsonback will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
