LEXINGTON, S.C. - Services for Annie Mayes Sauls, 80, of Lexington, will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Jones-Stewart Funeral Home, Lyons, Ga., with burial to follow in Lyons Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2002, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Homes, Lexington Chapel and from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, April 14, 2002, prior to the service at Jones-Stewart Funeral Home. Mrs. Sauls widow of Rema T. Sauls, died Friday, April 12, 2002. Born in Lyons, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Adolphus Sr. and Annie Moore Mayes. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lyons, Order of the Eastern Star, Lyons and the Order of Amaranth, Inc., West Columbia. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn Sauls Brooks and Charles A. Brooks Jr. of Lexington; granddaughter, Lisa Brooks Asmer and her husband, Norman M. Asmer of Columbia; great-grandchildren, Tiffanie Brooks and Jamie Witherspoon; brother, Adolphus Mayes Jr.; nieces and nephews; stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren.
