KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Lois Ann Grishkin, age 54, of Augusta, Ga., and Knoxville, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2002, at Fort Sanders Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born in Pittsburg, Pa., to Agnes Seginack Mesaros of Grindstone, Pa. and the late Andrew Mesaros. Lois was a 1968 graduate of California University of Pennsylvania and had been an elementary school teacher in Brownsville and Hershey, Pa. She received a Master Degree from Saint Marys University in San Antonio, Texas. Lois was a devoted mother, wife and friend to all. She loved cooking, art, music and surfing the internet. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Brent Grishkin; three children, Jennifer of Arlington, Va., Jonathan of Augusta and Justin of Eugene, Ore.; brother, Andrew Mesaros Jr. of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; sister, Elaine Schenck of Saline, Mich. Friends will be received in Skirpan Funeral Home, 135 Park Street, Brownsville, Pa., on Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., and 6 to 9 p.m. Where prayers of transfer will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 10 a.m., in St. Cecilias Roman Catholic Church, Grindstone, Pa. with the Rev. Father John Sedlak as Celebrant. Interment LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
