MCBEAN, Ga. - Services for Paul Ray Bridgmon, 55, will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Folk Funeral Home, Chapel with burial Barnwell Memorial Park Cemetery by the airport. Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Folk Funeral Home. Mr. Bridgmon died Thursday. Born in Birmingham, Ala., he was a son of the late Charlie Jackson and Dwynell Eads Bridgmon.He was a retired maintenance supervisor at Savannah River Site, and a member of Crestview Baptist Church, Augusta, Ga. He was preceded in death by sisters, Elizabeth Ann B. Black, Patricia Faye B. Rosier. Survivors include his wife, Mae Shelton Bridgmon of the home; two sons, Alexander and Steve Richard Shelton of McBean, Ga.; three sisters, Mrs. Wilson "Geanette" B. Stoudemire of Barnwell, Mrs. Floyd "Johnnie" B. Bodiford of Williston, Mrs. Allen "Jackie" B. Hawkes of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Gean and Linda Bridgmon of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother and sister-in-law, Gean and Linda Bridgmon of Williston; six grandchildren.
