Activities and entertainment events scheduled for coming days include:

TODAY

BALLET SOIREE: The Aiken Civic Ballet will present Soiree: A Premiere Performance with guest dancer Dmitry Zemskov, of Russia, at 7:30 p.m. at the University of South Carolina Aiken's Etherredge Center, 471 University Parkway. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. Tickets are available at the center's box office or by calling (803) 641-3305.

ART DISPLAY: Ann Lattimore and Pamela M. Moore will display their artwork from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Artists at Hayne and Pendleton in downtown Aiken. The show will feature works on canvas, furniture, ceramic and fabric. Done with a modern tone, the artwork, some of which is wearable, ranges from the serious to the silly. CAR SEAT SAFETY CLINIC: The Aiken County Public Library, 314 Chesterfield St. S., will hold a free car seat clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It will include information on safety precautions, secure fit of the child and recalls. For more information, call (803) 641-2493.
