CLAIR, Ga. - M rs. Geraldine Logue Sherrill, 56, of St. Clair, Ga., wife of Gilbert Sherrill, died Sunday, March 31, 2002, at Burke Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a native of Burke County and lifelong resident of this area. She graduated from Waynesboro High School and from Augusta Technical School of Cosmetology, and was a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, G.V. Logue, Jr., and brother, Denny Logue. In addition to her husband, survivors include her mother, Elizabeth W. Logue; and two sisters, Louise Logue Knight and Rosemany Logue Robbins, all of St. Clair, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews. Geri will be remembered as a free spirit who loved her pets and was caring and protective toward all animals. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Brushy Creek Baptist Church, St. Clair, Ga., with the Rev. W.E. Croft, Jr., officiating. Interment will be in the Logue Family Cemetery. Pallbearers will be cousins.
