WAYNESBORO, Ga. - Mrs. Ann Bates Harden, 84, of Lake Bluff Drive, widow of the late R.U. "Doc" Harden, entered into rest Friday, March 8, 2002, at Burke Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2002, at Burke Memorial Gardens, Waynesboro, with Dr. David Carter officiating. Mrs. Harden, a native and life long resident of Waynesboro, was a retired real estate agent and owner of Ann B. Harden Realty Company for 50 plus years. She began her real estate career in 1940 with Harry Norman in Atlanta and established her own firm in early 1950 in Burke County. She was one of the founders of the Burke County Chamber of Commerce, a former Secretary of the Georgia Field Trials Association and a life long member of First United Methodist Church of Waynesboro. Survivors include two daughters, Sidney Rangeley, Hoover, Ala. and Annette Daniel, Savannah; four grandchildren, Alan Daniel, Paige Mesaros, Jacqueline Ann Smith and Toni Wynne; three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Alan Daniel, Matt Mesaros, Bob Bolton, John Jeffcoat, Wayne Welborn, James Harden, Joe Daniel, Doug Rangeley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wimberly House, P.O.
