TODAY

AUGUSTA CONCERT BAND: Trombonist Wycliffe Gordon will perform with the Augusta Concert Band as part of the Cleon W. Mauldin Memorial Concert at 7 p.m. at Augusta State University's Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, 2500 Walton Way. Tickets, which are available at the door, cost $6 for adults, $3 for seniors and students, and are free for Augusta State University students, faculty and staff. ANNIVERSARY PARADE: The Girl Scouts will celebrate their 90th anniversary with a parade at 2 p.m. The parade route will begin at the service center, adjacent to Sacred Heart Cultural Center, and travel to the Girl Scout Peace Pole in Riverview Park in North Augusta. THREE BILLY GOATS GRUFF: Augusta State University's Born to Read Literacy Center and Patchwork Players will stage a production of Three Billy Goats Gruff at 9, 10 and 11 a.m. at Augusta State University's Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, 2500 Walton Way. Tickets cost $3. People who plan to attend should R.S.V.P. because plays can be canceled because of poor attendance.
