HouseCalls seeks Augusta homeowners

Ron Hazelton's HouseCalls a nationally syndicated television series, is rolling into Augusta in search of homeowners ready to improve the look of their homes or yards, all with a camera rolling.

Host Ron Hazelton travels across the country in his custom motor home along with his "mobile workshop" helping men, women, couples and families tackle a huge range of moderate-sized home improvement projects. Mr. Hazelton is seeking homeowners willing to work on their home with him for two days of taping.

HouseCalls is starting its selection process now for on-site shooting in early May. The show will consider almost any one- or two-day project, but is especially interested in:

  • Kitchen cabinet island
  • Laminate flooring
  • Replacing and sprucing up an old window
  • Wainscoting
  • Creating a unique bathroom vanity
  • Updating a bedroom
  • Backyard overhaul
  • Faux rock fireplace
  • Building a garden shed
  • Indoor planters
  • Backyard masonry, built-in propane grill
  • Materials are donated by Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse and Mr. Hazelton's labor is provided for free, leaving minimal to no cost for the homeowner. Selected Augusta homeowners will appear on-camera in a featured role to be aired on a future edition of HouseCalls. Those interested can submit a request by logging on to www.ronhazelton.com.
