AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest March 8, 2002, at Augusta Hills Nursing Home, Mr. Timothy M. Gleason of Augusta. Family members include a sister, Frances G. Timmerman of Augusta; and a brother, Joseph B. Gleason of North Augusta. Mr. Gleason was born in Jasper, Ala. but lived most his life in the Augusta area. He was a Catholic and a pipefitter and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local 150. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII and fought in three different theaters of war and was awarded the Bronze Star. Graveside services will be Monday, March 11, 2002, at 1 p.m., at Westover Memorial Park, with Father Jim Hart Celebrant. The rosary will be Sunday evening at 6 p.m., at Rowland Funeral Home and the family will receive friends afterward.
