MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mr. Leon M. Cominsky, 73, of Dunwoody Road, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Doctors Hospital. The Funeral Mass will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, Martinez on Saturday, March 9, 2002, at 1 p.m. with Reverend Robert A. Cushing from St. Teresa and Reverend Leon Mozeliak, Mr. Cominskys great-nephew officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Felicia Messina Cominsky of Martinez; one son and daughter-in- law, Leon J. Sr. and Lorraine V. Cominsky of Nashville, Tenn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Dr. Leona "Shelley" and Kenneth W. Mishoe of Martinez and Sandra C. and N. Tom Hightower III of Martinez; one sister, Mary C. Konosky of Carbondale, Pa.; five grandchildren, Leon J. Cominsky Jr., Robin M. Hightower, K. Wesley Mishoe, Thomas Hightower and Jeffery M. Mishoe; and one great-granddaughter, Liliana E. Cominsky. A native of Carbondale, Pa. and the youngest of 18 children, Mr. Cominsky was a member and usher of St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church, the Moose Lodge, American Legion and the International Brotherhood of Steelworkers.
