EVANS, Ga.- Entered into rest March 4, 2002, at the residence, Mrs. Robbie Chapman Calhoun, 87, of Owens Road, Evans, wife of the late James N. Calhoun Sr. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2002, at Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Timothy Owings officiating. Survivors include two sons, Mr. James N. Calhoun, Jr. of Charlotte, N.C. and Mr. Robert C. Calhoun of Asheville, N.C.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A native of Oklahoma, Mrs. Calhoun was the daughter of the late Claude Chapman and the late Margaret Williams Chapman. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church where she was a former Sunday school teacher and also a volunteer. If so desired, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way, Augusta, GA. 30909. Friends are requested to assemble at the graveside.
