AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, March 2, 2002, at Medical College of Georgia, Ms. Beverly Shelley of Wallace Street. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2002 at 3 p.m. at the New Hope Christian Church, Thomson, with Rev. Luther Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Society Cemetery, Mesena, Georgia. She was a native of Chattanooga, Tenn. and employed as a laundry worker with Gracewood State and School Hospital. Survivors are her husband, L.C. Williams; mother, Mary Shelley, Macon; five sisters, Gloria (Alton) Harvey, Macon, Betty Booker, Georgia Shelley, Christine (Robert) Singfield, Diane (Joe) McCord, Thomson; five brothers, Ted Shelley, Augusta, Willie (Sarah) Shirley, Larry (Velma) Shelley, Ned (Brenda) Shelley, Thomson, John Willie (Jeannette) Shelley, Dearing; three stepdaughters, Pamoilia Williams, Annell Glasgo, Lottie Bell Bates, Prosperity, S.C.; stepson, Roger Lee Williams, Prosperity, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
