GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Mrs. Marie Johnson Turner, age 94, of Graniteville, entered into rest Saturday, February 23, 2002, beloved wife of the late David H. Turner and daughter of the late William Johnson and the late Emma Redd Johnson. Mrs. Johnson is survived by several and nieces and several great nieces and great nephews. She was born in Aiken County, S.C. She was a member of the Graniteville First Baptist Church, where she was also a member of the Jewel Gregg Sunday School class. The funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 26, 2002, at 2 p.m. in the Graniteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hendricks, Rev. John Arthur and Rev. Gene Wilson officiating. The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Elliott Johnson, Rupert Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Danny Johnson, William Vickers, Roger Lanier, Richard Freeman and Wade Baggott Jr. The honorary pallbearers will be members of the Jewel Gregg Sunday School class. The family will receive friends at the Napier Funeral Home tonight, Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the church at P.O. Box 119, Graniteville, S.C. 29829.
