AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at the University Hospital, Ms. Viola OBryant, 86, formerly of Fourteenth Avenue. Mrs. OBryant was a native of Columbia County, but made her home in Augusta. She was a member of Beulah Grove Baptist Church of which Rev. Dr. Sam Davis is pastor, where she served on the Missionary Ministry. Survivors include a devoted brother, Mr. Alfonzia OBryant, Augusta; granddaughter, Ms. Vandella Barner; three grandsons, Daniel Franklin Parks, New York, George Riley Jr., Larry Riley both of Augusta; four nieces, Ms. Juanita Reeves, Ms. Viola Boynton, Ms. Alice Johnson, all of Augusta; four nephews, John Ashley, Samuel Boynton, William OBryant all of Augusta; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2002, at 1:30 p.m., from Beulah Grove Baptist Church, Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olive Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 25, 2002, from 7 to 8 p.m. Friends may call at the residence or the funeral home.
